Configuring Your Logitech Slim Folio Keyboard

If you received an iPad with a Logitech Slim Folio keyboard, the keyboard case links to your iPad via a Bluetooth connection. The first time you use the keyboard case, you must pair it with your iPad.
(Note that the keyboard case status light will blink blue to indicate that the keyboard is discoverable and ready for pairing with your iPad.)

Here are instructions to help you set up the keyboard case:

  1. Open the iPad and place it on the keyboard's magnetic port so that the iPad is uprightin the typing position.
  2. If the battery tab is still attached, remove the yellow tab to activate the battery.
  3. Open Settings on the iPad and select Bluetooth.
  4. Turn Bluetooth on, and look for Slim Folio under Devices. (Note that you may need to press down on the keyboard's Bluetooth connect button—located in the upper right corner of the keyboard—until the keyboard status light blinks blue.)
  5. Select Slim Folio and wait for a message box with a PIN code.
  6. Using the keyboard, enter the PIN code provided in the message box and press Return. (Note that you will not see a place to enter the code, or see the code as you type it—just keep entering the code and press Return.)

Your keyboard should now connect. If it does not, turn off Bluetooth and try again. Remember that you may need to press down on the keyboard's Bluetooth connect button—located in the upper right corner of the keyboard—until the status light blinks blue.
