First things first...
There are two different "passwords" that can be associated with an iPad. The first is called a passcode and you use this to open or unlock your iPad.
The second password is the one associated with your Apple ID and used when you download an app from the App Store or access your iCloud account.
So, did you forget your passcode or your Apple ID password? Use the appropriate box below to get help!
If you need to change your passcode AND you still remember your current passcode:
This will allow you to change your passcode. Remember that the University requires your passcode to be at least 6 characters and contain letters and numbers.
If you do not know your current passcode, see your Campus IT department. They may be able to change your passcode using the Meraki software. If they are unable to use Meraki, the passcode can still be reset, but you should be prepared to lose all data that has not been backed up using iCloud.
If you forgot your Apple ID password:

Follow the prompts to reset your Apple ID password.
When you are issued an ECPI iPad for academic use, you are encouraged NOT to add credit card information.
If you have added a credit card but then it expires, you may get a message that your Apple ID and iTunes account have been disabled, you have two options:

If you are still experiencing problems, take your iPad to your Campus IT staff.
If your iPad has been disabled, use the video below to plug in to iTunes and restore the device. This normally occurs if the wrong passcode has been entered too many times on the device. You will lose any information that was not backed up to iCloud.
Your Apple ID is an email address. If you have access to your device, you can see what your Apple ID is through the settings app under iCloud or the iTunes and App Store. If you do not have a device connected to that Apple ID, you can recover your Apple ID here.
