NVIDIA AI Certification at ECPI University

Dr. Paul Nussbaum, EET faculty at the Glen Allen Campus in Richmond, Virginia, became an NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) Ambassador in early 2022.  

Since becoming an NVIDIA DLI Ambassador, Dr. Nussbaum has hosted workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for ECPI University students, alumni, faculty, and community partners. NVIDIA DLI workshops offer unique, free training for those looking to solve challenging problems with deep learning and accelerated computing.​​​​​​

Interested in earning a certification from NVIDIA? 

Future workshops will be promoted on campus homepages and in Canvas. If you are a student interested in participating in an NVIDIA workshop, please note that you will need approval from your campus ET or CIS Director who can confirm that you have completed the necessary coursework and/or have familiarity with Python programming.

Exam Information:

• When offered, these workshops are available to students and alumni at no charge, and no voucher is required. 
• Typically hosted on a Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (EST/EDT) by Dr. Paul Nussbaum
• Offered approximately every two months
• Participants take an assessment test at the conclusion of each full-day workshop
• Participants who pass the assessment test earn an official certificate from NVIDIA

NVIDIA Exams Offered: 

• AI for Anomaly Detection - workshops held virtually

• AI for Predictive Maintenance - workshops held virtually

• AI on the Jetson Nano - only offered as an on-site workshop at a designated campus, hardware dependent. 

• Fundamentals of Deep Learning - workshops held virtually
