Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity

Artificial Intelligence (or AI) is the human-like intelligence, judgement, learning, and awareness exhibited by machines, along with the branches of computer science and engineering that seek to create intelligent machines.

Since the development of the digital computer in the 1940s, it has been demonstrated that computers can be programmed to carry out very complex tasks.

(Encyclopedia Britannica)

In the intelligence community, AI can be applied to tasks such as data mining and to basic HUMINT gathering applications.
